Our client, a national title company, is seeking an Escrow Assistant to join their team.

The Escrow Assistant provides support throughout the real estate closing process and plays a key role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely transactions. This position is responsible for assisting with residential resale, new construction, refinance, relocation, and timeshare transactions while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining proactive communication with all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support escrow officers in managing residential, resale, new construction, refinance, relocation, and timeshare escrow transactions from opening through closing.
  • Prepare, review, and process escrow-related documents, forms, and correspondence.
  • Facilitate the flow of information between buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, builders, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate transaction files and ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and escrow procedures.
  • Coordinate the collection and distribution of required documents, funds, and signatures.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from internal and external customers, providing updates and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Monitor transaction timelines and assist in meeting critical deadlines.
  • Assist with scheduling closings and preparing closing packages.
  • Perform data entry and update escrow systems with accurate transaction information.
  • Support post-closing activities and file maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in escrow, title, real estate, mortgage, or a related industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and escrow/title software systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of escrow and title processes, real estate transactions, and closing procedures.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
